HBDJ Weekly Update - Week 51

HBDJ Weekly Update - Week 51

Welcome back to week 51! We didn't have anything booked this week, but we still managed to get out to Totara Street on Thursday for SOTA. What a show it was! Our very own DAV was on the lineup, playing the handover slot to Skantia, and he absolutely shelled the place out. When you're playing before absolute GOATs like Skantia and SOTA, you don't need to worry about going too hard in your set—which is perfect for someone like DAV.

On Saturday, I hung out with Aimee at Brew Co. for the last night of her month's residency. It was a very busy night with a packed dancefloor, and everyone was singing their hearts out!

Seems it's now Thursday. I should also add that I managed to pop into Miss Gee’s on Monday night after the Hospo Awards and played B2B with Aimee for a couple of hours. Managed to keep a good few patrons hanging around till 1:30am on Tuesday morning, which I think is a pretty bloody good effort really. Although it wasn’t as busy as they would've liked.

That about wraps up week 51. Good news—our Instagram accounts are back up! Go follow our new pages @homebreweddjs, @homebassnz, and @jaydoo. Michael doesn't have his set up just yet, but he will in due course. You can also keep up to date via my Instagram @j.crawfie, or check out the Homebrewed and Homebass Facebook pages.

Cheers
