HBDJ Weekly Update – Week 30

Another week down, and this time right on schedule.

This week we ticked off a big one, our first high school ball, playing for Te Puke High School at the Te Puke War Memorial Hall, and what a night it was. Energy from start to finish.

We arrived early to get everything set up properly, dialled in the sound, and made sure everything was looking clean before heading off and returning later in the evening. One small hiccup getting back in, the street had been closed off . but once we were inside, it was straight into it.

From the moment people started coming through the doors, the dance floor stayed active all night. Even with dinner and dessert happening in a separate space, the flow of people in and out didn’t slow things down at all. Proper consistent energy, which is exactly what you want at a school ball.

Overall, a really smooth night and a great first run at that type of event.

Looking forward to a slightly quieter weekend ahead before we get back into it.
