HBDJ Weekly Update - Week 28

Hey lovely people, these weeks just keep flying by. I’ve been thinking a lot about when I first started writing these updates and how different Homebrewed was back then. Once we hit a full year of weekly updates, we’ll be switching gears and moving to a monthly newsletter instead.

This week at Homebrewed was another busy one behind the scenes. Plenty of ideas are still bubbling away, waiting to be unleashed on the world. One of them actually came to life on Friday night, when Aimee and I put some music on and baked cookies with friends. Such a fun couple of hours. I started going through the footage yesterday and kicked off the edit, so that should be up sometime next week.

We’ve also locked in our next Open Decks lineup, which went live on Instagram a couple of days ago. We’re thinking of trying something a little different with this month’s setup to make the video more interesting, so definitely watch this space.

Looking ahead to ANZAC Weekend, we’re back at Rita’s on Saturday night. It’s been a couple of weeks since we last played there, so it’ll be great to get back. Then on Sunday, we’ve got Jaydo B2B Michaelangelo at The Med Lounge. It’s our first time playing there, and we’re opening for Go Freek, we already know it’s going to be a hell of a time.

Busy week ahead, and we’re absolutely here for it.
