HBDJ Weekly Update - Week 9

We’ve made it to Week 9 of the HBDJ Weekly Update, and what a week it was. After a stacked Sunday last weekend, it was straight back into the day jobs to keep the lights on — but the music world didn’t slow down.

Some serious heaters dropped this week. Community Service came through with a weapon in ZACATTACQ’s Rude Boy Dub, and Juni dropped his HITZ 4 THE HOOD remix, which absolutely bangs. The talent coming out of Tamaki Makaurau right now is unreal — proud to be a Kiwi when our producers are putting out tracks that rival the UK scene.

As for us, it was a chilled weekend with no bookings, but we’re locked in for a big one next weekend and keen to get back behind the decks.

Hope everyone has a safe Crate Day and drinks responsibly. As I always say — don’t do anything I wouldn’t do… which doesn’t rule much out.
