HBDJ Weekly Update - Week 49

Evening, a huge weekend for the boys. Keeping active and wandering around the town.

On Friday, Aimee was playing at Miss Gee’s. I went along with her and spun some tunes. We spent most of the night playing different variants of 2000s music—R&B, Dance, Hip-hop—all sorts to keep the few people there entertained. Once she finished up, we popped over to the mount and had a look at what was going on around the place.

Saturday was the main day of chaos (not just referring to the Warriors losing). I got out nice and early to catch the game and have a couple of drinks for Aimee’s birthday. Had to leave early to go set up at Rita’s and get the music pumping. FFAR came and joined me, and we spun heaps of classics and disco tunes for a majority of the night. Once we reached 11:45 pm, I shot off to Brew Co. to cover for Aimee while she had a birthday moment at 12. Playing at Brew Co. was heaps of fun. Would love to play a night there one day.

So, a big weekend there and another one to come. Next weekend we’ve got a private gathering for my birthday! and I really can’t wait to celebrate another year around the sun.
