HBDJ Weekly Update - Week 43

Good afternoon,

Another week has passed and I’m delighted to have the day off today. It’s been a lovely week in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. I can’t wait for warmer weather to arrive in the coming months. We’re well past the halfway point in winter so it should only get warmer from here! (I hope!)

This week at Homebrewed DJs was a good one. I filled in for Goat Phillips on Saturday at Rita’s. It was a pretty busy night and I’m really pleased with how we got on. I started the night with groovy house music and transitioned through tech house to garage, finishing with some speedy bangers. I ended the night with a Panic at the Disco original to switch things up and signal the end of the night.

Many bookings are starting to come through for the next few months. I’m really looking forward to some of our upcoming gigs. There’s also a big Homebass NZ announcement coming soon!

Next weekend marks our first-ever double booking on Saturday night, which is a huge milestone for us! You’ll find me at Rita’s throwing down the house grooves with Phillips. Michael, Levi and Tyler will be out at the Katikati Rugby Club giving the people a celebration to remember for their prize-giving.
