Heya team! HBDJ Weekly Update - Week 3 is here, and it’s been a full-on one for the Homebrewed boys.

Exciting Developments This Week

Over the week, we’ve been busy working on new business documents. We’re creating pricing cards, add-on cards, and more! These tools are designed to make it easier for you, our customers, to understand what we offer. We want you to take that info away in a clean, well-formatted way.

Another big focus has been locking in the final pieces of the puzzle for our upcoming Totara Street gig on February 27th, 2026. Keep your eyes peeled for more details dropping November 3rd 👀

Learning from Feedback

We also wanted to be transparent and mention that we received some tough feedback from one of our recent gigs with DJ4YOU. We took it seriously. We sat down as a team, discussed what happened, and set a few actionable goals. Our aim is to make sure we’re always meeting (and hopefully exceeding) people’s expectations in the future. Growth comes from learning, and we’re all about that 💪

Unforgettable Nights

Last night, Levi and I played at Taste, and wow — what a night! So many smiling faces, so many bodies moving on the dancefloor. We absolutely love those Taste Saturdays.

Funny story though — Levi came over to prep tunes for the set. After an hour of digging through tracks, we decided to have a mix. Pretty sure that mix turned into us playing all the stuff we wouldn’t be able to drop at Taste rather than practicing our actual set! 😂

Tonight's Big Event

Tonight, we’re back at Voodoo Lounge for The Final Shift — no restrictions, no rules, just straight-up dancefloor energy. This one’s going to be special. Let’s send it one last time! 🔥

Looking Ahead

As we move forward, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead. We want to be the go-to DJ service in Tauranga and surrounding areas. Our goal is to deliver high-energy, unforgettable musical experiences at both private events and public club nights.
