HBDJ Weekly Update - Week 20

Week 20… where do I even start?

Wednesday turned into a bit of a side quest. I found myself out with Aimee, DJing out the sunroof of her car in the middle of the day. Completely unplanned chaos — and honestly, such a good laugh. We managed to record the whole thing too, so keep an eye out for that dropping soon.

Then came Open Decks on Friday, and wow… it went better than we could’ve expected. For our first one back this year, the turnout was solid and the energy in the room was unreal. The biggest win though? Seeing the community growing stronger. That’s what Open Decks is really about.

All the sets from the night are being uploaded to YouTube. We’ve kicked things off with Aimee and I’s opening set — that one’s live now — and the remaining five sets will drop daily over the next few days. If you were there, you’ll want to relive it. If you missed it, here’s your chance.

So much energy. Such a good night. And the scary part? It only grows from here.

Today’s a rest day. The last few weeks have definitely caught up with me, so a bit of recovery is needed before we go again.
