HBDJ Weekly Update - Week 39

Morning team,

Winter is really setting in now. Some of these nights have been absolutely freezing!

General

This week at Homebrewed, we finally completed the transition to our Ltd company. YAY!

It feels like it's taken an eternity to get everything switched over, but we're finally there. There's still plenty of work to do, but it's a huge milestone and one we're incredibly excited about. It'll definitely be worth it in the long run.

Rita's

On Saturday, we spent the night down at Rita's.

It's still one of my favourite venues to play in town, and I feel like we dropped some real bangers throughout the night. That said, with three people playing back-to-back-to-back, it can sometimes be difficult to maintain a consistent flow. While the music was great, the night felt a little more like a slog than usual because of it.

Still, it's always a good time getting behind the decks at Rita's.

Upcoming

Over the next couple of weeks, we've got our monthly Open Decks coming up on 18 July.

We're still finalising the lineup, but as soon as everything is confirmed we'll get it announced and out to the world.

We've also got something else in the works...

Something a little different.

Wrapping Up

I'm back on the clock at work today after a late one last night. Not exactly ideal after a busy weekend, but sometimes you've just got to get on with it!
