Good week to you all.

It's been a busy one, although not entirely in the Homebrewed world.

Michael and I have both had a pretty full-on week for different reasons. I've been battling a chest infection which knocked me around more than I'd like to admit, while also dealing with a very sick cat that resulted in a few unexpected trips to the vet. Michael has been flat out with his own commitments as well. Between the two of us, Crown Control promo took a bit of a back seat, but despite that we're incredibly happy with how the event turned out.

Last night we headed into Cornerstone to host Crown Control, and what a night it was.

Cornerstone is such a cool venue right in the heart of Tauranga CBD. The last time we ran an event there was for Bring Back the Bass back in early January last year, so it felt good to be back.

The night started off nice and groovy before gradually moving deeper into the garage sounds. Once Aimee D stepped up, we were firmly in UKG territory. We also squeezed in an unexpected 30-minute B2B after one of our DJs had a last-minute mishap and couldn't make it. That extra half hour absolutely flew by.

From there the night continued through hard techno, more garage, and eventually closed out with some absolutely filthy drum and bass.

Honestly, we couldn't be happier with how the night went. Great turnout, great music, and every DJ brought their A-game.

As is quickly becoming a Homebass NZ tradition, all of the recorded sets will be making their way online soon, so keep an eye out for those.

Hope you all have an awesome week.

Maybe we'll see you at Rita's on Saturday?

Jaden
